CONNECTED IN THE SPIRIT

For the past few years, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis has been engaged in  a pastoral planning process called “Connected in the Spirit”.  Now, it is time for parishes in Indianapolis to participate in the process.  This involves the participation of all parishioners who will be asked what their parish is doing right and what could be done better.

On Sunday, May 5, at the 10:00 am Mass at Holy Trinity, you will be asked to fill out a survey.  There will be room on the survey for additional comments.  The results will be tabulated by a core team of four parishioners and presented to the parish after the Sunday Mass on May 19.

Eventually the goal is to help neighboring parishes share resources, avoid unneeded duplication of services and to fill in gaps where service and ministry are not available.

Because Holy Trinity and St. Anthony are linked and St. Barnabas is also involved with the two parishes, we are already doing some of the things “Connected in the Spirit” hopes to accomplish.  We share a pastor and office personnel with St. Anthony, St. Barnabas helps staff the food pantry and operates the Free Cycle event in the spring.
